VIRTUAL CONSULTATION

TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms & Conditions apply to Virtual Interior Design Consultations provided by Blue Canopy Design LLC (“Blue Canopy Design”). By booking and purchasing a consultation, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms.

SCOPE OF CONSULTATION

The Virtual Interior Design Consultation is a 60-minute advisory session intended to provide professional interior design guidance based on the information, photographs, plans, drawings, measurements, and other materials provided by the client.

During the consultation, we may discuss topics including space planning, furniture layouts, cabinetry and millwork concepts, materials and finishes, lighting, plumbing fixtures, furnishings, styling, paint colors, and other interior design decisions.

The consultation includes verbal design advice and recommendations only, unless otherwise expressly stated in writing.

Drawings, renderings, specifications, product sourcing, purchasing, written design plans, revisions, contractor coordination, and follow-up design services are not included in the consultation fee.

CLIENT-PROVIDED INFORMATION

Because the consultation is conducted virtually, Blue Canopy Design relies on information supplied by the client, including photographs, videos, dimensions, plans, drawings, and descriptions of the space.

The client is responsible for ensuring that information and measurements provided are accurate and complete and sent in advance of the consultation time.

Blue Canopy Design is not responsible for errors, omissions, costs, or other consequences resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information supplied by the client or a third party.

CONSTRUCTION, DIMENSIONS & FIELD VERIFICATION

Recommendations made during the consultation are design recommendations and are not construction documents or advice.

All dimensions, site conditions, product dimensions, clearances, installation requirements, structural conditions, electrical requirements, plumbing requirements, and other construction-related information must be independently verified on site by the client's appropriately qualified contractor, installer, architect, engineer, or other trade professional before ordering, fabrication, construction, or installation.

Contractors and trades are solely responsible for their construction methods, measurements, field conditions, workmanship, installation, and compliance with applicable requirements.

CODES, PERMITS & PROFESSIONAL SERVICES

Blue Canopy Design does not provide architectural, structural engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, plumbing engineering, or other licensed professional services as part of a Virtual Interior Design Consultation.

The client and their licensed professionals are responsible for determining applicable building codes, permitting requirements, structural requirements, accessibility requirements, and other governmental or regulatory requirements.

Any design recommendation affecting structural, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, life-safety, or other regulated work must be reviewed and approved by the appropriate qualified professional before implementation.

PRODUCTS, MATERIALS & SOURCING

Any products, furnishings, fixtures, finishes, materials, or vendors discussed during the consultation are recommendations based on the information available at the time of the session.

The client is responsible for confirming all dimensions, specifications, compatibility, availability, lead times, pricing, shipping, return policies, installation requirements, and suitability before purchasing.

Blue Canopy Design is not responsible for manufacturer defects, discontinued or unavailable products, price changes, shipping delays, vendor performance, installation issues, or the quality or performance of third-party products or services.

CONTRACTORS & THIRD PARTIES

Blue Canopy Design is not responsible for the acts, omissions, workmanship, representations, schedules, pricing, or performance of contractors, subcontractors, installers, vendors, manufacturers, or other third parties.

Any decision to hire or purchase from a contractor, vendor, or other third party remains solely between the client and that third party.

DESIGN OUTCOMES

Interior design involves professional judgment as well as subjective aesthetic preferences.

Blue Canopy Design will provide recommendations based on professional experience and the information available during the consultation; however, specific aesthetic, financial, construction, resale, or other outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

CONSULTATION TIME & FOLLOW-UP

The consultation is limited to the duration purchased at booking.

Clients are encouraged to submit relevant information before the appointment so that consultation time can be used efficiently.

Additional research, sourcing, drawings, revisions, written recommendations, email correspondence, or follow-up consultations are not included unless specifically agreed to as an additional service.

CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING

Consultations may be cancelled or rescheduled at least 72 hours before the scheduled appointment.

Cancellations made within 72 hours of the appointment and missed appointments are non-refundable.

If Blue Canopy Design must cancel or reschedule an appointment, the client will be offered an alternative appointment time or a refund of the consultation fee.

LIMITATION OF SERVICES & RESPONSIBILITY

The client retains responsibility for all final purchasing, construction, installation, and implementation decisions.

Blue Canopy Design's recommendations should not replace the advice or approval of licensed professionals where such professional expertise is required.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Blue Canopy Design LLC will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, consequential, or third-party losses arising from decisions made or work performed based upon consultation recommendations.

ACCEPTANCE

By booking the Virtual Interior Design Consultation and checking the acceptance box during checkout, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
